Included

A website of up to 5 pages, built from the Client's approved Preview.
Initial content for those pages, written by Wark Digital from the Client's business information and public listings.
2 revision rounds. A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to the Site's existing pages, sent in a single email.
Mobile-friendly layout, a contact form, and basic on-page SEO set-up (page titles, descriptions and Google indexing request) at launch.
Launch on the Client's domain.
Ownership: the Client owns the Site once the $500 is paid (MSA Section 7.2).
Hosting, chosen by the Client:
- Self-hosting: Wark Digital hands over the Site's files as a zip archive, and support ends at handover. The Client is responsible for its own hosting, SSL, backups, security and updates, and must replace the contact form service (MSA Section 9.5).
- Wark hosting at $25/month: hosting, SSL, daily backups and security updates. No edits are included; edits are Extra Work. Month to month, cancellable with 30 days' notice (MSA Section 16.2), after which the files are handed over as a zip archive.

Not included

Edits after the 2 revision rounds, and any edits while on Wark hosting (available as Extra Work).
More than 5 pages, and new features after launch.
Content writing beyond the initial build (blog posts, new pages, rewrites).
Logo or brand design; professional photography.
SEO upkeep, Google Business Profile management, and guaranteed search rankings.
Paid ads or social media management.
Email hosting or email accounts.
E-commerce, online payments, user logins or memberships.

SEO upkeep: keeping page titles, descriptions, business details and search-engine indexing current.
Google Business Profile upkeep: keeping hours, services, photos and links current, with manager access the Client grants. The Client stays the owner of its profile.
1 hour of edits per month to the existing Site, such as updating text, photos, hours or services. Unused time does not roll over. Requests beyond the hour are quoted as Extra Work first.

Not included

Edits beyond 1 hour per month, and redesigns, new features or more than 5 pages (available as Extra Work).
Content writing beyond the initial build (blog posts, new pages, rewrites), beyond what fits in the monthly edit hour.

Common questions

Who owns the website?

On Starter, you own the site once the $500 is paid. On Care, we own the site's code while you're subscribed and you have a license to use it. On every plan, your logo, photos, text and reviews are always yours.

What happens if I cancel Care?

You can buy the site for a one-time $500 and move to Starter: take the files and host it yourself, or keep hosting with us at $25/month. If you don't buy it, the site comes down on the cancellation date. Either way, your content is returned on request.

I already have a domain. Can I use it?

Yes. You keep paying your registrar and give us access to point it at your site. If you don't have one, we can register and hold one for you for $15/month.

Do you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?

No. Nobody honest can promise rankings or a number of calls. What we do is give Google and your customers everything they need to choose you, and on Care we keep your details current.

How do I pay?

Through Stripe. Starter is paid once at checkout. Monthly plans are billed automatically each month. We never see your full card details.

Is email included?

No. Email hosting isn't included on any plan.
